Q: How do I arrange for a wheelchair to carry me to/from my plane?
A:
Arrival
The airline or tour operator must be advised in advance of the type of assistance the passenger may need. If the passenger does not have a wheelchair, the airport will provide one.

The airport ground handling personnel can assist passengers on board the aircraft upon request. Transportation will be provided for passengers to the Arrivals hall directly from the aircraft upon request.

Passengers needing special assistance have priority going through passport control where a special cabin is provided for them.

A special elevator to the baggage claim area is reserved for such passengers. Escorts also assist these passengers in retrieving their baggage. After completion of all arrivals procedures, passengers are also escorted to the Welcome desks.

Departure
If the passenger does not have his/her own wheelchair at their disposal, the tour operator will provide one. Passengers travelling individually are provided with wheelchairs at the Information desk.

If needed, escorts are provided to take passengers to their aircraft. Special needs passengers will have priority at the check-in desk and will be able to go through a special cabin at passport control.

Q: How can I find out if a flight has arrived?
A: If you are at the airport, please use our flight information display at the Arrival area, contact the airline directly or use our web page.

Q: When do I need to check in for my flight?
A: Airline companies usually request you to start check-in procedures at least 2 hours before departure time.

Check-in Procedures
You can easily find the check-in counter for your flight displayed on the electronic information boards above each check-in counter. They provide information about airlines, flight numbers and departure times. If you are not sure about these details, check your flight tickets or ask your tour operator.

To check in, you will need a valid passport and your flight ticket. You may also need a visa depending upon your nationality and country of destination.

At the check-in counter you will receive a boarding card with the departure gate number and seat reservation number on it. You might also get a bag tag coupon.

The Antalya Airport International Terminal is proud of its efficient check-in procedures. This gives you more time to spend enjoying yourself in our restaurants and/or exclusive duty free shops.

A: Like most countries, Turkey has different and frequently changing requirements depending on your country of origin. For further information please visit here (www.mfa.gov.tr).
